I’m Cory Levine — a licensed insurance professional, a widower, and a father of two. My work is personal, because I’ve lived the exact moment this protects against. Here’s my story, and why I do this.
Why this is personal
I was raised in a Jewish family in New York, and my spiritual journey eventually led me to Jesus during one of the hardest periods of my life. When my wife became seriously ill, we depleted much of our retirement savings trying to keep her comfortable and provide for our family. After she passed away at just 37 years old, I devoted myself to raising our two sons, Harvey and Sammy. My faith became the foundation that carried me through those years — and ultimately shaped the work I do today.
That experience changed the way I look at life insurance and financial planning. Family protection is not simply about leaving behind a death benefit. It’s about protecting income, preserving options, creating access to money during serious illness, and building a foundation that can support a family through both the expected and the unexpected.
